Job Title: PE Teacher

Location: EHMS

Job Responsibilities: The Middle School Physical Education Teacher is responsible for providing

engaging instruction that promotes physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

The successful candidate will develop and implement lessons aligned with Tennessee Physical

Education Standards while ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities include assessing student progress, maintaining classroom management, and

collaborating with staff and families to support student success. Applicants must hold a valid

Tennessee teaching license with appropriate Physical Education endorsement.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements: Licensed TN Teacher or equivalent

Hours: 7:30-3:30

Contract Period: 2026-2027

Starting Date: When Hired

Salary: According to the Hickman Co. Board of Education pay scale
