Job Title: Eagles Golf Coach

Location: EHMS

Job Responsibilities: The Coach will be responsible for the following responsibilities for head coach in

the following:

Instruction & Player Development

1. Teach fundamental golf skills including grip, stance, swing mechanics, putting, and course

etiquette

2. Instruct students on rules of golf and scoring procedures

3. Provide constructive feedback to support skill growth and confidence

Practice & Game Management

Plan and conduct structured, safe, and engaging practices

1. Organize lineups and pairings for matches and tournaments

2. Supervise students during practices, matches, and team travel

Team Leadership

1. Promote sportsmanship, integrity, and respect for the game

2. Set clear expectations for behavior and academic eligibility

3. Encourage teamwork, responsibility, and personal growth

Communication & Administration

1. Communicate effectively with parents, administration, and the athletic department

2. Coordinate practice schedules, match dates, and transportation

Administrative Responsibilities:

1. Ensuring all eligibility documents are completed and submitted (sports physicals,

FINALFORMS portal created by parents)

2. Inventory documentation is turned in on time

3. Holding parents/guardians meetings and meetings with all student athletes

4. Must follow established procedures in the event of an athlete’s injury

5. Must represent EHMS and the golf program in a professional manner at all times

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Hours: Vary (practices and matches held after school hours)

Contract Period: current - July 2027

Starting Date: Upon Hire

Salary: Based upon HCSS assistant coaching pay scale
