Probationary Appointment     1.0 FTE        2026-2027 School yearWork Schedule:8:00am – 3:30pmDescription of Duties:The Special Education teacher will use or modify the general education curriculum to meet the child's individual needs. They will incorporate various methods of instruction including but not limited to problem solving assignments, small-group work and individualized instruction. They will also foster appropriate social behavior, academic development and emotional maturity. The Special Education teacher will implement technology as part of the learning process and use specialized equipment such as interactive educational software programs, synthesized speech and audiotapes when appropriate.Requirements:Valid NYS Teaching certification in Special Education
