Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time high school English teacher at Bethany High School. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and have a strong background in English literature and language arts.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and standards
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that fosters student learning and growth
- Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for students
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning
- Attend staff meetings and school events as required

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Oklahoma Teaching certification required in English or related field
- Strong knowledge of English literature and language arts
- Experience teaching high school students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators
