OPEN POSITIONS:           2026 Summer School Teacher – Secondary – Geology (10-12)

START DATE:                    2026 Summer School

POSITION SALARY:          $28.00/hour (Teachers who sign up for and complete ALL 20 days will be paid $29.00/hour)

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course is intended for any student interested in studying the history and the dynamics of Earth.  Topics include rock and mineral identification and formation, plate tectonics, and weathering and erosion. In addition, students will explore the social, economic, environmental costs and benefits of our natural resources, and how best to utilize them in today’s world.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Missouri State Teacher Certification in – Science
Teaching experience
All positions are contingent upon enrollment #'s
All positions will be using the time clock.
Teachers will work on the PD scheduled for Thursday, May 28, 2026
