OPEN POSITIONS:            2026 Summer School Teacher – Secondary - Algebra I Strategies

START DATE:                    2026 Summer School

POSITION SALARY:          $28.00/hour (Teachers who sign up for and complete ALL 20 days will be paid $29.00/hour)

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Students will learn how to bridge the gap between pre-algebra concepts and the formal study of Algebra I. It focuses on developing essential algebraic thinking skills, problem-solving strategies, and procedural fluency necessary for success in higher-level mathematics. Through engaging activities, collaborative work, and targeted practice, students will build a strong foundation in key areas of Algebra.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Missouri State Teacher Certification in – Math
Teaching experience

All positions are contingent upon enrollment #'s
All positions will be using the time clock.
Teachers will work on the PD scheduled for Thursday, May 28, 2026
