OPEN POSITIONS:            2026 Summer School Teacher – Secondary - Credit Recovery (9-12)

START DATE:                    2026 Summer School

POSITION SALARY:          $28.00/hour (Teachers who sign up for and complete ALL 20 days will be paid $29.00/hour)

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

A student can recover credit for a course or courses that have been failed at the high school level.  These units are determined by the results of a pre-assessment given at the beginning of the course.  Students who complete the necessary credit recovery units prior to the end of the program, could be released for the remainder of the credit recovery program. Once the credit recovery is complete, students who have chosen to enroll in credit advancement will remain at school to attend during the time frame of the second class.  Only students taking an additional credit advancement course for a .5 credit are eligible for the $50 gift card for 100% attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Missouri State Teacher Certification in content area
Teaching experience
All positions are contingent upon enrollment #'s
All positions will be using the time clock.
Teachers will work on the PD scheduled for Thursday, May 28, 2026
