OPEN POSITION:          P.A.T. Parent Educator  – Early Childhood Education Center - Full-time

START DATE:                2026 - 2027 school year

PAY RATE:                    $$17.77 - starting rate, commensurate on degree

PRIMARY FUNCTION:        Promotes early learning and the health of children by supporting and encouraging their parents/caregivers.  Documents details of each visit, assessment, screening and provides follow up resources.  Develops and maintains a current community resource network system that includes all necessary information to link families to identified supports and services as needed.

Afternoons, evenings and weekends may be necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Parents as Teachers National Certification, preferred but not required
Required continuing education to maintain certification
Trained in Foundational 1 and 2 Curriculum, preferred but not required
BA Degree in Early Childhood or related field or 60 college hours in Early Childhood or related field and at least two years’ experience working with young children and families
Effective oral and written communication skills

Job Requirements:
High School/Trade School degree preferred.
