This position is for a science teacher in our Junior High building, 6th through 8th grade.

Terms of Employment:

School year as established by the Board and Administrators.
Salary - Step 1 Bachelors - $40,000
Board paid benefits, 3 out of 5 options on the board paid medical plans are fully funded by the district.
Actual contract amount will commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:

Valid Missouri teaching certificate in area applied for.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward generating successful teamwork and a demonstrated ability to work with a variety of people in a variety of settings.
To create an academic program, directed by curriculum guides, which fosters learning in all subject areas taught; to create a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge, which contribute to the foundation of lifelong learning; to establish good relationships with parents, staff, and other community members.
