Job Description

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree preferred in Technology Education or Instructional Technology, Math and/or Science. Knowledge of Win7 computers. Knowledge
and experience in using Microsoft Office applications and, Google Docs for Education.

Preferred: Experience in teaching PLTW, CAD or engineering courses at the middle or high school level preferred but not necessary. Certification for Automation & Robotics and
Design & Modeling courses. Familiarity with basic troubleshooting for Windows machines.

FLSA: Exempt

Salary Schedule: Per Approved Teacher Salary Schedule

Direct Report: Building Principal

Terms of Employment: 9 Month

Eligible for emergency telework: Yes

Purpose: The Project Lead the Way teacher is responsible for classroom instruction of the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Design and Modeling and Automation and Robotics courses, and various other elective courses contained within the PLTW Gateway to Technology Model which integrate science, technology and math concepts with engineering.

Essential Job Functions:

Attend work in a regular, reliable and punctual manner.
To "telework" when requested by the District.
Will have to attend necessary trainings including summer.
Lead STEM related club (TSA) Technology Students Association.
Other assigned duties
