Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children who have special needs and a strong commitment to providing high-quality education in an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Collaborate with parents, other teachers, and specialists to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
Provide direct instruction, support, and interventions as needed to help students achieve their goals.
Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and parent conferences.
Foster positive relationships with students and families to support their overall development and well-being.
Supervision of paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field
Valid state teaching license/certification in Early Childhood Special Education.
Experience working with young children with special needs, including knowledge of best practices in early intervention and developmentally appropriate teaching strategies.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
