The Cameron R-1 School District is accepting applications for an Elementary Special Education Teacher for 5th Grade at the Cameron Intermediate School for the 2026-2027 School Year.  Primary responsibilities will be to provide instruction and a learning environment that will enable each student to increase skills appropriate to age, grade level, and individual capacity.  The teacher will be responsible to plan and implement daily instruction to assigned students, work on a team with other teachers, communicate effectively with students, staff and parents, complete special education paperwork, hold IEP meetings, and complete other duties as assigned.   It is preferred that desired applicants hold a valid Missouri teaching certificate in special education and/or elementary education.
