Job Summary:

At PPHS, our teachers are educational coaches. Students participate actively in their learning, and coaches facilitate, encourage, and provide opportunities and support.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Provides coaching and support for student academic growth and achievement
Work collaboratively with colleagues and community partners in a co-taught, interdisciplinary instructional setting
Collects and analyzes student data to support instructional decisions
Develop meaningful and supportive relationships with students through a positive youth development and restorative justice lens
Develop and maintain positive relationships and communication with parents and families
Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree
Current Indiana Teaching License required
Experience and knowledge of a Design Thinking Process required
2+ years working in classrooms and coaching teachers
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate and work well in a team
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
