Description:

Metro North Elementary School and MSD of Wabash County seeks qualified candidates interested in a temporary/long-term leave for a 2nd grade teaching position at Metro North Elementary School, a preschool through grade 2 educational setting. 

Job Requirements: 

• Foster a safe, positive and healthy learning environment
• Engage actively with children and families
• Possess an understanding of instructional best practices
• Experience in creating, planning, and leading curriculum and instruction aligned with the Indiana Academic Standards meeting the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.
• Collaborate and communicate with students, parents, colleagues and administrators, and maintain cooperative relationships

Qualifications: 

• Hold a Bachelor's degree preferably in Elementary Education (minimum)
• Possess a valid Indiana teaching license
