SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER | CERTIFIED

Carlin Park Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Special Education Teacher to join our team. This position reports directly to the building Principal and the Special Education Director. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs and fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support tailored to individual student goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

● Safe Hiring Solutions expanded background, including Indiana DCS index.

● Valid Indiana Teaching LIcense in Special Education

SALARY & COMPENSATION

• Rate of Pay: Dependent upon experience and licensure
• 185 day position
• Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance Benefit, retirement-eligible position

Start Date: August 3, 2026 End Date: Last Teacher Day for 2026/2027
