• Passionate and highly qualified Spanish teacher needed for 7th and 8th grades
• This position must foster critical thinking, prepare students for high school rigor, and create engaging, inclusive learning environments
• This position is for 185 days; 7.5 hours/day

Requirements:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with state curriculum standards and student needs
• Assessment of student performance and progress monitoring throughout the school year
• Maintenance of accurate student academic and behavior records
• Managing classroom behavior, promoting a positive and inclusive environment, and enforcing school policies
• Regular communication with parent/guardian about student progress
• Collaboration with team members, staff and administrators
• Participation in professional development
• Upon offer, candidate must complete and clear drug screen and expanded criminal history background check for school personnel as required by IN state law



Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in secondary education in the appropriate content area
• Must hold an Indiana teaching license or ability to obtain an IN teaching license in the content area needed for this position
• Strong instructional skills and content area expertise
• Must be able to accommodate students with varying degrees of abilities
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
