Job Description:

• Instructor for the Criminal Justice program of study at Century Career Center.
• Instruct and support students in curriculum competencies, industry certifications, and dual credit obtainment.

Job Requirements:

• Curriculum development and instruction with high school students, including dual credit requirements with post-secondary partners.
• Classroom planning, management, grading/evaluation, and additional program needs.
• Maintain and follow student accommodations as required by law, for example, IEPs and 504 Plans.
• Promote good public relations between Century Career Center and both our community stakeholders & industry partners.
• Support and implement LCSC and Century Career Center policies.
• Establish and maintain a program Advisory Committee as required under federal law.
• Perform all other reasonably assigned duties.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience and knowledge of Criminal Justice, Law, Public Safety, Corrections, Security, and related topics.
• Associates Degree or higher in the field of criminal justice, law enforcement, etc. (ability to offer dual credits).
• Three or more years of experience in the field of criminal justice, law enforcement, etc. (see Workplace Specialist information below).
• Hold, or be eligible, for appropriate State of Indiana teaching license, including Workplace Specialist.

NOTE: No prior teaching experience is required for this position.
