Job Description
Tiger Cubs Pre-K is being built around a simple but powerful belief: early childhood experiences shape the trajectory of a child’s education. Employment to begin: August 3, 2026
Position Title: Preschool Teacher
Grade Level: Age 4-5
Teaching Certificate Required: Elementary Teaching License or Early Childhood Teaching License, Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education.
Previous Teaching Experience Preferred but not required.
Skills, Training or Aptitudes Required or Desired:
Strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for early childhood
Possess strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse learners.
Provide a safe and supportive work environment for students and staff.
Monitor and analyze student data to identify areas of need
Must be able to support:
early reading, writing and math literacy
differentiated instruction
inclusion practices
various assessments and practices for Reading, Writing, Math and early childhood
behavioral strategies, techniques, and interventions
Position Will Be At: Tiger Cubs Preschool
Physical and Mental Efforts:
This position requires a high level of physical and mental endurance.
Sitting in an office/classroom environment, performing tasks on a computer or other technical devices.
Frequent standing, particularly for sustained periods of time.
Frequent walking, moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one part of the building to another.
Constantly talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas to colleagues and/ or students accurately, loudly, or quickly.
Ability to hear and listen to detailed information through oral communication.
Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision and distance vision.
Ability to handle and balance multiple demands at the same time.
