Special Education Teacher

• Work with students in special education across a variety of settings
• Write and update IEP's that meet IDOE compliance guidelines
• Schedule and attend Annual Case Conferences
• Maintain accurate and sufficient to construct progress monitoring reports
• Create and maintain classroom schedules that support all learners
• Advocate for student needs
• Work collaboratively with families to support student success
• Supervise and coordinate Instructional Assistants to best support students in the classroom
• Provide training to staff as needed
• Demonstrate efficient communication skills with teammates
• Other duties as assigned
