Minimum Qualifications and Credentials Required:
● Bachelor’s Degree; valid Indiana Teaching License
● Highly Effective performance rating
● Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
● Proficient technology skills
● Ability to work independently and with colleagues
● Professionalism in interacting with colleagues, students, and parents or guardians
● Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction
for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects
Essential Functions:
● Develop to mastery then model and assist classroom teachers to implementation of
research-based instructional best practices
● Provide feedback to classroom teachers regarding research-based best practices
● Provide current and relevant resources to support teachers with their own personal Professional
Development
● Plan and provide professional development for a variety of groups including administrators and
teachers
● Model the understanding, use and application of data to guide and support classroom instruction
and/or teacher professional growth plans

● Build trust and rapport with administrators, teachers, students and fellow instructional coaches
● Coach teachers to use individual formative student assessments to improve designated student
performance
● Coach special education teachers in instructional practices and student support as needed
● Infuse technology at a high level into all areas of instruction
● Assist STEM coach to integrate concepts across the curriculum
● Collaborate and plan with other instructional coaches
● Attend assigned trainings or professional development opportunities
● Assist the Leadership Team in building to implement Professional Development Plan as outlined
for the year
● Perform other tasks and additional responsibilities as assigned
Physical Requirements:
● Must be able to perform physical labor without restrictions such as bending, lifting, stooping, and
carrying objects
● Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
● Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds

Other Considerations
Must have a valid Indiana Teaching License in the appropriate content area.

Conditions of Employment
I currently hold or am in the process of obtaining a valid Indiana Teaching Certificate in the area required for this position?
I am eligible to work in the United States of America.
I authorize and am willing to pay for a National Background Check if recommended for this or any position at a cost of $31.50.
