Minimum Qualifications and Credentials Required:
Must hold a valid license from the Indiana Department of Education, Division of Professional
Standards or be in the process of earning a license in one of the following areas:
Speech Pathologist License; Speech and Hearing Therapist, Speech Language and Hearing
Clinician or Communication Disorders
Purposeful Planning:
1. Utilize current and comprehensive content/specialty are knowledge for planning
2. Utilize current and appropriate practices and procedures for screening and evaluations
3. Interpret assessment results, write report, and make placement/service recommendations
Effective Instruction, Treatment and/or Instructional Support:
1. Maintain a therapy space that is well organized and materials are available when needed
2. Implement appropriate progress monitoring procedures
3. Promote generalization across settings
4. Develop student understanding of lesson objectives
5. Utilize strategies that promote student engagement
6. Create a culture of respect and collaboration
Leadership and Professional Responsibilities:
1. Advocate for student success
2. Fulfill professional TOR/Caseload responsibilities
3. Supervise assigned therapists assistant according to state supervision guidelines
4. Efficiently manage scheduling of sessions
5. Prepare for and participate in case conferences
6. Develop appropriate and quality EP’s that will enable students to master their goals
7. Collaborate and communicate professionally to promote student success
8. Engage families in student learning
9. Contribute to the school, district and/or co-op
10. Advance professional skills and knowledge
11. Carry out Due Process responsibilities as requested
Core Professionalism:
1. Demonstrate consistent attendance and on-time arrivals and departures to work and all
related functions
2. Follow all local, state and Federal laws related to school and the community and follow all
locally established policies and procedures
3. Interact with students, colleagues, administrators, parent/families and community
members in a respectful manner
4. Exhibit behavior in accordance with the establish code of conduct and perform the
function of the job in an ethical manner
5. Complete other duties as assigned
Other Considerations
Must have or be willing to get a valid Indiana Teaching License.
$2,500 Sign-On Bonus
There will be 3 open positions for the 2026-2027 School Year.

I currently hold or am in the process of obtaining a valid Indiana Teaching Certificate in the area required for this position?
I am eligible to work in the United States of America.
