Early Learning Lead Staff (Early Learning Center-Based)
POSITION DETAILS:
• Serve as lead in an infant, toddler, or preschool (3-year-old) classroom
• Along with support staff, supervise a group of children while maintaining a safe
and healthy classroom environment, following all state-required childcare
licensing and PATHS to Quality program requirements.
• Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment for the children, and follow
all state-mandated childcare licensing and PATHS to Quality program
requirements.
• Attend to children's basic needs, including feeding and diapering, and adhering to
classroom cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
• Lead in the creation of a classroom community for support staff, children,
and families.
• Lead in the planning and implementation of developmentally-appropriate
materials, activities, and lesson plans.
• Lead in the planning of a developmentally-appropriate classroom environment.
• Lead in the completion of child assessments and parent conferences.
• Mentor classroom support staff in developmentally-appropriate practice.
• Obtain 20 hours of professional development per year.
• Stay updated on all state-license mandated requirements including: CPR/First Aid
training, Child Abuse and Neglect Detection training, Background Checks,
Fingerprinting, etc.
• Perform other duties as required.
4.0 hours/day or 8.0/day hours depending on assignment, Monday - Friday
