Job Description

The Stuttgart School District is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Dyslexia Interventionist for the 2026/2027 school year to provide targeted, research-based instruction to students identified with characteristics of dyslexia. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in the Science of Reading and a passion for helping struggling readers achieve success through structured literacy practices.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
Valid Arkansas teaching license
Training in Take Flight intervention program preferred, OR willingness to attend and commit to the full 2-year Take Flight training
Strong understanding of dyslexia, structured literacy, and the Science of Reading
Knowledge of phonological awareness, decoding, fluency, spelling, and comprehension instruction
Experience working with students with reading difficulties or dyslexia preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
