Job Title: K–6 Hybrid Teacher
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, student-centered K–6 Hybrid School Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction for both in-person and at-home learning environments. This educator will be responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing standards-based instruction while fostering student engagement, academic growth, and social-emotional development across grade levels. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technologically proficient, adaptable, and passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences in flexible learning models.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Curriculum
Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons for hybrid formats.
Adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs, including differentiated and individualized instruction.
Utilize digital learning platforms and classroom technology to enhance instruction.
Provide instruction to students in grades K-6 depending upon the need.
Student Support & Engagement
Build positive relationships with students and families.
Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.
Implement interventions for students needing additional academic support.
Support students' social-emotional learning and promote a positive classroom culture.
Assessment & Reporting
Design and administer formative and summative assessments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
Analyze data to inform instructional decisions.
Communicate progress regularly with students, families, and administrators.
Collaboration & Professional Responsibilities
Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and instructional improvement.
Participate in professional development and staff meetings.
Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal educational guidelines.
Support school-wide initiatives and contribute to continuous
improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
Valid state teaching certification (appropriate grade level/content area).
Experience with online learning platforms and educational technology.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage time effectively in a flexible learning environment.
Preferred:
Master's degree in Education or related field.
Prior experience in virtual or hybrid instruction.
Experience working with diverse learners, including special education and English language learners.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Google Classroom, Canvas, Edmentum, or similar platforms. Core Competencies
