Arkansas Arts Academy (AAA) is a PreK–12 public charter school district dedicated to educating the whole child through arts-integrated learning. We connect rigorous academics with creativity, inquiry, and real-world relevance using the Artful Learning® model.

We are seeking a passionate, student-centered Elementary Teacher (Grades K-2) who believes strong relationships, high expectations, and creative instruction empower students to thrive.

Position Overview

The Elementary Teacher plans and delivers high-quality, standards-based instruction while creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment. This position reports to the Elementary School Principal.

What You’ll Do

Deliver engaging lessons aligned to Arkansas academic standards (ELA, math, science, social studies)

Integrate the arts through the Artful Learning® instructional model

Differentiate instruction to meet diverse academic, social, and emotional needs

Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with families

Support students with IEPs, 504s, GT, ELL, and other learning needs

Classroom Leadership

Establish a structured, respectful, and positive classroom culture

Maintain clear expectations and effective classroom management

Ensure student safety and well-being
