Midland School District is accepting applications for future openings for an elementary teacher.  The successful applicant must be licensed or eligible to receive license in this area.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students

to develop competencies and skills to succeed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

Valid Arkansas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned.

K-6 Endorsements preferred.

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of subjects assigned

General knowledge of curriculum and instruction

Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Willingness to work collaboratively with other professional educators through PLC teams

Experience: None required.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor degree preferred.
